On Monday 17th October, Russell will head south to speak in front of a live audience at TEDxWoodlane at White City House, London. The goal of TEDx events is to spark conversation, connection and community and this will in fact be Russell's 2nd Tedx talk with the first delivered at Edinburgh Napier University: Now-is-the-time-to-be-brave.

Who better to announce this than the man himself. Below is Russell's LinkedIn post on his upcoming talk and be sure to like and share the original post here.

I am delighted to announce that I've been selected to speak at Monday's ๐๐๐๐ฑ๐๐จ๐จ๐๐๐๐ง๐ event in London.
โ
As someone who avidly devours TEDx video's its a real honour, and a little daunting to say the least, to have the opportunity to share my thoughts and hopefully spark conversation on the subject of community.
โ
Over the last seven years (and particularly during the time of Covid) I have been personally nourished by the global communities I am proud to be a member of and have studied why they are so critical today and most importantly what they can deliver.
โ
I was reminded only this week of the connectivity, support and energy our own Scottish Business Network has created as I engaged with members in the Americas, Europe & Asia online and joined others, in person, in a Belgravia bar.
โ
The online and offline engagement was of course different but the desire for the community to flourish, and to support fellow members to succeed was equal and powerful.
โ
I would like to thank Sandeep Krishnappa who's vision and drive has made this event possible and my colleague Rebecca Leah Burgess who secured this opportunity for me to participate and has worked hard to help me tailor my talk.
โ
The event is a sell-out at White City House and you can imagine why as I will be speaking alongside some incredibly gifted individuals: Jamila Brown, Amelia Kallman, Lena Chauhan, Stephanie Itimi, John Vial, Amardeep Singh Shakhon, Gurmit Shakhon and Richard Pearson.

โWish me luck and I look forward to sharing the final video.
