The Global Entrepreneur Program is the Department for International Trade’s flagship programme that enables ambitious, internationally mobile entrepreneurs and their innovation-rich companies to scale and grow from a UK global HQ. This is made possible through GEP Dealmakers.

Dealmakers are successful entrepreneurs with vast experience in scaling technology businesses who will leverage their expertise to help you expand your business globally and will make introductions to key connections including potential investors and partners.

Russell Dalgleish is proud to be one such Dealmaker.

“We all know that the UK is one of the best places to base your company, offering benefits from a tax regime that encourages early-stage investment to the availability of exceptional talent. But for me, the most important factor is the supportive ecosystem for the entrepreneur. If you are non-UK national but would like to understand more about the benefits of being based here then drop me a note and I'll see how I can help.
From assisting with the Visa process, setting up a bank account, selecting a location, and most importantly that critical introduction to investors and identification of partners I am here to support you. And as a Dealmaker with the Department for International Trade (DIT) Global Entrepreneur Program I'm able to provide this support at no fee to you.” - Russell Dalgleish
Russell meeting with the founders of Easy Rice Digital Technology this March 22, with thanks to Michael Young and MBN Solutions for hosting.

A wonderful example of a company that the GEP supports is Easy Rice Digital Technology who’s priority is to make rice supply chain transparent and traceable, digitalising the global grain industry and lifting farmers out of poverty. Following extensive work in Thailand and with strong links to the University of Glasgow, the decision has now been taken to set up their group headquarters Exambrisk in Scotland.
