Do these questions sound familiar to you?

What's the best approach when seeking funding? How do I get the product/market fit right? Where will I find my next customer? How do I ensure the next recruit I bring on board is the "right hire"? How do I secure these grants others talk about? Why does LinkedIn not deliver for me? etc etc.

Would you like to discover a safe, secure environment where you can find answers to these questions and meet with others travelling the same journey?

Welcome to StartUp Huddle Edinburgh from Global Entrepreneurship Network!

“The coming months are going to be tough with the return of inflation, steeply rising costs, the ongoing battle for talent and the competitive battle to secure customer spend. These are some of the reasons I wanted to support this initiative but more importantly I wanted to take an action to honour all of those who have helped me with guidance and support during my career.” – Russell Dalgleish
"Whether you want to launch a new app, start a social enterprise, develop an innovative new product or simply flex those entrepreneurial muscles to see how it feels, the BRT Team are here to encourage and support your ambitions." - Bright Red Triangle

How we support each other

By Russell Dalgleish

I attended one of the most invigorating and motivational events of the year so far when I was hosted by Bright Red Triangle at Edinburgh Napier University for their January StartUp Huddle as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Network.

The event comprised an exclusive, round table discussion where a hand-picked group of local entrepreneurs shared the challenges they face in growing their businesses.

With Kendra Byers chairing the event, my role was to assist each entrepreneur to clarify their challenge and develop potential solutions.

In the room, we had the technology business leader, the food entrepreneur, the fitness guru and the online retailer; Alejandro Alcolea, Kael Begbie, Natalie Hesounova and Roman Macahins.

The unique format of StartUp Huddle encourages entrepreneurs from different sectors to gather together because we need to hear voices from outside our usual world share their insight on our challenges.

What was wonderful about the event was the way those around the table worked together to define imaginative, creative and importantly, implementable solutions.

I was able to identify some folks in my network who could also be able to assist and this week I'll be making those introductions.

Through partnering with the Edinburgh StartUp Huddle we are able to demonstrate the value of the Scottish Business Network community which is always a buzz.

I left the session buzzing, re-energised after a busy day and thankful to these wonderful entrepreneurs who reminded me that we can only succeed by supporting each other.𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩 𝐇𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦.
