Entrepreneurship brings us together globally

I've developed a growing fascination with the incredible results achieved by entrepreneurs in South East Asia and what we can learn from them.

‍

Hence it was a true honour to have the opportunity to spend a couple of hours in the company of some of these incredible entrepreneurs this week.

‍

Hosted by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐝𝐮𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐨𝐫𝐧, founder and chair of the YEN-D Young Entrepreneurs Network Development Program I had the privilege to spend time in the company of the latest generation of business leaders from across South East Asia including Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand.

I learned of the challenges faced and overcome by these inspiring leaders, their interest in developing partnerships in the UK, and the opportunities for UK companies in the region.

I look forward to developing deeper connections in the region and hope to welcome some of these "changemakers" to Scotland in 2023.

The event was made possible by Ne Lwin who has been such a support and inspiration to me since he arrived in Edinburgh this year. He is assisting us in developing Scottish Business Network's strategy for the region.
